AQAR Demo Privacy Notice

This notice covers the AQAR demo: a demonstration version of the AQAR website and the AQAR Property app, and the WhatsApp test that AQAR is running on Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform for the demo. It is for testing and demonstration. It is not a live service, and nothing you do in it is a real transaction.

Which features are switched on can change from one test to another. The demo may include:

• property enquiry forms on the website and in the Property app;
• owner request forms (market and lease a property, or property maintenance);
• tenant sign-in and tenant requests, including maintenance requests, with demo accounts that AQAR creates;
• file uploads, such as photos, on some forms;
• WhatsApp contact buttons, and the WhatsApp test described in section 4.

It does not cover AQAR’s real tenants, owners or customers, or the live AQAR website at aqar.com.qa.

Please use fictional details: an invented name, a phone number and email address that are not yours, and made-up property details. Please do not enter or upload real contracts, identity documents, bank or card details, passwords or sensitive personal information.

The demo forms do not check whether details are real. If you do enter real details, they are saved exactly as you entered them, can be seen by the AQAR staff described in section 5, and stay in the demo until AQAR erases them. If that happens, contact AQAR (section 7) and ask for them to be deleted.

Only what you enter or send. AQAR uses it so that you and AQAR can see how the demo works: a request you send is saved as a test record and appears on AQAR’s demo staff screens, so testers can follow it from sending to handling.

• Forms: what you type, for example your name, phone number, email address, message and property or unit details, and any file you attach.
• Sign-in: demo accounts use invented names and email addresses. Signing in sets a session cookie so that you stay signed in.
• Cookies and browser storage: the session cookie above; in the Property app, a cookie that remembers your language; your saved properties, which stay in your own browser on your device; and, if the demo is protected by an access password, a cookie that remembers that you entered it.
• No analytics or advertising: at the date of this notice the demo uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. This notice page sets no cookies.
• Technical logs: the services that host the demo, and this notice, may record standard technical details of each visit, such as the time, your IP address and your browser type.

The WhatsApp buttons in the demo, where they are enabled, only open WhatsApp on your device with a message you can edit. AQAR receives nothing until you press send in WhatsApp, and the demo website does not itself receive your WhatsApp messages, your phone number or your WhatsApp identity.

Separately, AQAR is testing a WhatsApp assistant on Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. Where it is switched on, a message you send to the AQAR demo WhatsApp number reaches AQAR through Meta’s platform together with your phone number and WhatsApp profile name. It may be processed by an automation server and an AI service (OpenAI) to prepare a reply, and AQAR staff may read it and follow up. WhatsApp, which is run by Meta, handles your messages under its own terms and privacy policy.

The assistant is a test: its replies can be wrong and are not offers or commitments. Please do not send real contracts, identity documents or sensitive information in a WhatsApp chat with the demo.

What you send to the demo is seen by AQAR staff using demo staff accounts, according to their role: for example Customer Services, leasing and marketing staff, maintenance coordinators, technicians (for jobs assigned to them) and administrators. Private attachments can be opened only by staff authorised to open them. Management reports show totals only, not individual requests. AQAR does not show demo submissions publicly.

The services involved are:

• the companies that host the demo and this notice (this notice is hosted on Cloudflare Pages);
• Meta, for WhatsApp, when you use WhatsApp;
• where the WhatsApp assistant is switched on, the automation server and AI service (OpenAI) described in section 4.

Demo information is kept in the demo system’s database and file storage and, for WhatsApp, in the services described above. AQAR has not confirmed in which country the demo’s servers are, so your information may be stored or processed outside Qatar.

AQAR has not set a retention period for demo information and does not promise automatic deletion. Demo data can be erased whenever AQAR resets the demo, and a temporary demo server can lose its data when it restarts. Neither is a guarantee that your information has been deleted.

You can ask AQAR to delete the demo information linked to you (section 7). AQAR will make reasonable efforts to remove it from the demo system. It cannot control copies held by WhatsApp (Meta) or other providers under their own policies, and it cannot promise a deletion time.

Please give the reference number shown after you sent a request, or the phone number or email address you used, so that it can be found.

This notice is effective from 8 November 2026 (Qatar time). It applies while the demo runs and may be updated or withdrawn when the demo ends.
